This little boat, which was so very loved, held all of the hopes and dreams of its owner. She was there to take them to the horizon and beyond, she was there to weather the storms, to witness the sunsets and to sail them safely to harbour. She was adventure, she was opportunity, she was a companion and inspiration, she was home.
Then complicated things happened, and she slipped in to the realm of the tasks which do not get tended to. Her mooring fees unpaid, her hull not scrubbed, her lines not lashed down. She was left to the elements for them to take hold of her. And all of the dreams were abandoned.
